For those of you who were there, you will remember. For those of you who weren't it means little. I was and I'd like to hear from folk who were too.

Ardingly - class of 1988

On the outside chance that any Hilton folk from the Ardingly class of 1988 get to read this, I say to you "do get in touch".

I am in regular contact with Baz and Shreds. I have mentioned to them the idea that it might be fun to organise a 20th anniversary get together some time in 2008. We all think it might be fun.

Some old stories would come out and we could briefly and disgracefully lapse into the teenage fools that we once were. Surely the curiousity (the fear ?) of seeing all those faces in one room together again would be fascinating.

Who would have aged the worst ? Put on the most weight ? Still be sensitive to the cruel jibes that battered them as a cringing teenager trying to claw their way into the hierarchy ?

God knows what it would be like, but I have no doubt that it would not be boring.

Get in touch, lets make this happen. If we don't do it for the 20th anniversary, we probably never will and may always wonder what amusement was missed. We'll all probably be fretting about the nearness of 40 too, so it'll be a nice diversion.

Johnny Laws shot a load of footage with a video camera around school in 1988. A couple of years ago I managed to get him to part with it and I now have it on dvd for anyone who wishes to see it. Just email me an address and its yours.

The quality is quite poor in places, but taken as a whole its a fantastic twenty year old vision into the past. Who knows, there might even be footage of that chick you used to fantasize about !
